About The Position

The Production Janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the entire plant, both inside and outside, including the parking lot and grounds around the building. The goal is to keep the facility as lint-free and clean as possible. This role involves emptying waste receptacles, recycling plastic bags, and adhering to standard operating procedures and quality standards.

Follow all company safety rules
Be able to work well with a diverse workforce
Be able to follow directions given by their team lead and supervisor
Follow all company policies and procedures
Possess and maintain a positive attitude
Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area in line with company policies
Be able to work past the schedule, as production issues may arise
Be able to stand on feet up to 12 hours a day
Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, and pulling

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness of the plant, outside parking lot and grounds around the building.
Keep the entire facility as lint free and clean as possible.
Empty waste receptacles and recycle plastic bags in soil sort.
Follow standard operating procedures.
Meet quality standards.
Cross-train in other positions per production needs.
Perform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fit.
