About The Position

Unither Manufacturing LLC. in Rochester (NY) specializes in the manufacture of Blow-Fill-Seal, Liquid Stick-Packs, Pharmaceutical bottles, Tablets and Capsules. The Production Inventory Coordinator will maintain current inventory levels and receive new inventory while optimizing inventory for business efficiency. This role requires knowledge of purchasing and inventory control, an energetic work ethic, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. The position requires following detailed work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to perform daily tasks within the Production Maintenance Team. This position will work closely with others in a team atmosphere on various projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years relevant work experience.
  • Training and/or experience as an administrator or other administrative assignment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organization & strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills demonstrating proficiency in MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CMMS program.
  • Able to work in a team environment or independently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize work and complete it in a timely manner.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours when required to meet operational commitments/needs to include weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent verbal communication and human relation skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent administrative skills and perception.

Responsibilities

  • Review purchase orders to ensure accurate delivery of goods.
  • Address shipping, receiving, and payment issues with outside vendors.
  • Request quotes from vendors.
  • Issue purchase orders to main and alternative vendors when necessary to acquire parts.
  • Review, record, and submit invoices to ensure accurate receipt of and payment for goods.
  • Maintain the accuracy of the inventory management system through our current CMMS system.
  • Receive and distribute inbound deliveries.
  • Assist in assuring that all items are properly checked out of the stockroom and recorded as necessary.
  • Prepare and participate in physical inventory.
  • Assist in maintaining a neat and orderly environment in the stockroom.
  • Maintain and adhere to the current budget.
  • Collaborate with finance and leadership to prepare future budgets.
  • Serve as a point of contact to answer internal questions and/or concerns in reference to parts/stockroom.
  • Manage Excel reports to maintain accurate data.
  • Prepare and distribute department information to leadership as needed.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
