Every day, our experienced team performs diverse and complex tasks at our headquarters in Houston, Texas, to ensure that individual orders are completed professionally and on time, and that the functionality and quality of our products is being continuously improved. The Parts Runner / Parts Auditor is responsible for accurate movement, delivery, verification, and auditing of materials used in the production process. This role supports both warehouse and production operations by ensuring parts are delivered safely, inventory is accurate, and discrepancies are identified and resolved efficiently.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in delivery driving, warehouse, or inventory control.
  • Moderate computer skills (Microsoft Office, ERP systems preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, procedures, and instructions.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform basic math (percentages, measurements, counts).
  • Ability to obtain forklift and crane certification.
  • Employment will be dependent on candidate successfully passing a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up parts, materials, and equipment, as assigned.
  • Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and secure transport, as applicable.
  • Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
  • Perform production inventory audits, floor stock cycle counts, and discrepancy investigations.
  • Verify incoming materials for accuracy and quality; verify returns from production to support inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
  • Assist in improving inventory control processes and accuracy with part movements between production and the warehouse teams.
  • Receive, inspect, and store materials properly.
  • Perform set-out inspection
  • Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment (as needed).
  • Ensure proper labeling, tracking, and organization of inventory.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Create and respond to internal material requests for parts and inventory verification.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Assist with process improvements and operational efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
