Requirements

  • Strong and accurate data entry skills
  • Intermediate skills in using Microsoft tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerBI preferred)
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated – able to work with minimal supervision
  • Use of powered hand tools
  • Testing of raw materials and/or finished products, which may or may not include industry standard test methods (e.g. ANSI/ASME measuring standards)
  • HS graduate or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in quality and/or production

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) preferred
  • Previous experience with Oracle, SAP or other database management systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Inspects finished products, products being processed, incoming materials, parts and assemblies, etc. for conformance to company standards.
  • Checks randomly selected samples and verifies accuracy of equipment or process.
  • Examine, test, or measure raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Reports conditions requiring immediate repair.
  • Works under general supervision.
  • Keeps records and makes reports indicating results of inspections.
  • Inspect work areas to detect unsafe conditions.
  • Document, production holds based on findings
  • Daily usage of measurements; micrometers, calipers to check dimensions with blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Ensure tools are calibrated and set up properly and according to specifications
  • Obtain samples to conduct studies in laboratory for analysis.
  • Conduct Product and Process audits and LPA (Layered process audits)
