About The Position

A Production I associate is responsible for multiple duties including Restock, Checking and Picking orders. In the restock function, provide great customer service by quickly and accurately restocking product into designated low bay bins as directed by a voice or radio frequency unit. In the checking function, inspect and audit outbound customer orders for accuracy and compliance, seal the orders, and direct completed orders to be invoiced and shipped. In the picking function, quickly and accurately pick product. Orders are picked from designated locations and placed into cartons that are on a pre-built pick cart. This is done by direction of a voice or Radio Frequency (RF) unit. Drop leftover cases or other discrepancies at designated areas. May construct cartons and build carts. Responsible for checking out equipment and returning in same condition. Meet minimum production and accuracy standards and delivery deadlines. Maintain safe, neat and clean work area by adhering to SanMar safety regulations.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write and have sufficient ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information.
• Basic math skills in counting and quantity required.
• Demonstrated ability to follow directions and change priorities or job duties as business needs require.
• Ability to learn Internal Operating System and operate Radio Frequency (RF) Unit.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environment while meeting deadlines.
• Able to work both independently and within a team.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Comprehend verbal and written instructions.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
