About The Position

Taylor DM Brands, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for a Production Hand Packager/Finisher to join the team in Amsterdam, NY. This role is responsible for assembling, binding, and packaging materials and products manually, performing basic quality control checks, and preparing packages for shipment. The position operates on the 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Requirements

Experience operating equipment in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
Frequently required to move inside the facility
Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

Responsibilities

Assembles, binds, and/or packages materials and products manually.
Performs basic quality control checks including measuring, weighing, strength testing, package counts, and evaluating product or package appearance.
Folds & tapes boxes, applies labels, and stacks boxes on pallets according to direction.
