About The Position

This role is responsible for removing product from the production line and stacking it on pallets according to work order specifications in preparation for shipping. The ideal candidate will be dependable, able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally, stand for long periods, bend frequently, perform repetitive tasks, be detail-oriented, and adapt to varying work environments. The position requires the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. The work is generally performed in quarry and production plant conditions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in mandatory stretching exercise program
• Receive direction and work orders from Supervisor
• Verify that tools and equipment are in proper working condition
• Remove split stone from conveyor belts and verify that it meets specifications
• Trim stone to specifications as needed
• Place stones on pallets according to color, size, and quality
• Maintain quality standards
• Band and wrap pallets for transport
• Keep work area clean and orderly
• Follow all safety regulations
• Other duties as assigned
