About The Position

Buechel Stone is a family-owned and operated natural stone company with production facilities in Wisconsin, Kansas, and North Carolina. They pride themselves on providing the best experience for both customers and employees. This role is for a 1st Shift Packager responsible for removing product from the production line and stacking it on pallets according to work order specifications in preparation for shipping.

Requirements

• Ability to read a tape measure
• Dependable
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently; 100 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to bend frequently
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Detail oriented
• Ability to adapt to varying work environments

Responsibilities

• Participate in mandatory stretching exercise program
• Receive direction and work orders from Supervisor
• Verify that tools and equipment are in proper working condition
• Remove split stone from conveyor belts and verify that it meets specifications
• Trim stone to specifications as needed
• Place stones on pallets according to color, size, and quality
• Maintain quality standards
• Band and wrap pallets for transport
• Keep work area clean and orderly
• Follow all safety regulations
• Other duties as assigned
