About The Position

Responsible for creating production logos, artwork, and images for White Cap’s branch apparel line, including jackets, shirts, and other branded merchandise. The role prepares production-ready designs, ensures files meet printing and production requirements, and works with sales representatives and the internal team to deliver designs that meet customer needs, deadlines, and quality standards. Work is performed under general supervision, with regular review by a senior coworker or supervisor. Complex or unusual problems are referred to a supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is strongly preferred.
• Specialized skills training or certification may be required.
• Generally 2–5 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Knowledge of file formats for print and heat transfers, including vector files and color separations.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in graphic design, preferably in apparel or promotional products.
• Familiarity with large-scale production environments and logo application processes.
• Prior experience operating in a fast-paced warehouse environment with an emphasis on safety, accuracy, and productivity.
• Working knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and material handling processes.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, handheld scanners, or related technology.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and pull products and materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical duties for extended periods during scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare production-ready logos and artwork for apparel and related products.
• Apply layout, clarity, and visual appeal best practices while following customer instructions.
• Manage multiple projects and orders of varying sizes simultaneously.
• Collaborate with the internal team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Ensure design files meet technical requirements for printing and production, including resolution, color format, and file type.
• Work with sales representatives to understand customer needs and deliver designs aligned with their requests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues to support smooth production.
