We are currently looking to fill a full-time, permanent position for a Production Forklift Operator in our Production Department at our Laredo, TX facility. Requirements

  • Forklift training must be completed
  • Must always be safety conscious and follow all Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations
  • Must be attentive and a logical thinker.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and attention to detail are essential.
  • Must be able to work well with minimal supervision.
  • Must display a respectful and positive attitude.
  • Reading, writing, oral communication, and effective listening skills are essential job tools.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Basic mathematical skills are essential.
  • Safety shoes are mandatory for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Move skids accordingly within the production area and ensure packing lines have correct produce. Work closely with Supervisor regularly on order schedules & needs.
  • Transport items to move, relocate, stack, dry goods and produce.
  • Load, unload, pack, and unpack materials, ensuring safe and efficient handling of goods and materials.
  • Validate & track inventory of incoming and outgoing items.
  • Inspect and verify product and match with pick tickets. Accurately completing all related documentation and paperwork as required.
  • Inspect and report minor & major maintenance needs on the forklift and other equipment
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Ensure all walkways are kept free of debris to prevent slips, trips and falls as well as clean up any items lying around such as cords, baskets etc.
  • Dump the garbage bins outside to the compost & garbage bin dumpsters.
  • Must comply with all Health and Safety, Food Safety, Bio Security, and Nature Fresh Policies and Procedures.
