About The Position

In this role you will support a variety of areas in our fruit processing and packaging operations, sanitation, and drum washing.

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent is required
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Employee must be able to work any shift (day or night) including weekends
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out both oral and written instructions
  • Ability to effectively read, comprehend, and fill in production forms accurately with dates, times, temperatures and other processing information
  • Able to work with and around cleaning chemicals and perform sanitation duties
  • Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, GMP’s, and general instructions as well as carry out both oral and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous food processing or manufacturing experience a plus
  • Previous forklift driving experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Follow all Company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Produce high quality products in a safe, sanitary, and healthful manner
  • Maintain documentation and production records that are legible, accurate, and complete
  • Communication with team leaders, leads, maintenance, and all production personnel to achieve self-sufficient team goals
  • Understands and applies HACCP, plant quality, plant GMP’s, and food safety requirements to the daily performance of the job
  • Performs housekeeping and sanitation duties, according to company SSOP’s
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Must be able to work any shift, including weekends and overtime as needed while maintaining a good attendance record
  • Flow to the work in all areas of production
  • Ability to work as part of a team and assist others as needed
