About The Position

Raw Seafoods, Inc. is looking for a hands-on Production Floor Supervisor to lead daily operations in our seafood production room. This is a frontline leadership role responsible for supervising hourly production associates, including fish cutters, trimmers, packers, and support staff. This is not a desk-only supervisor role. We need someone who is visible on the floor, comfortable leading in a fast-paced production environment, and able to drive attendance, productivity, safety, quality, training, and team performance every day. The right person will set the tone for the room, hold employees accountable, and help build a strong, motivated, productive team.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of supervisory or lead experience in manufacturing, warehouse, food production, seafood, meat, poultry, produce, or another fast-paced operation.
  • Experience leading hourly frontline employees.
  • Ability to coach employees, manage attendance, enforce standards, and improve productivity.
  • Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Working knowledge of workplace safety, PPE enforcement, sanitation, and quality standards.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early starts, overtime, or changing production schedules as needed.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to keep the team moving.

Nice To Haves

  • Seafood cutting, trimming, packing, or protein processing experience.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Experience with timekeeping systems and production reporting.
  • Familiarity with forklifts or powered equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily production room operations and workflow.
  • Assign labor positions and monitor production pace.
  • Supervise hourly team members, including cutters, trimmers, packers, and support staff.
  • Coach employees in real time to improve performance, productivity, and work habits.
  • Manage attendance, tardiness, breaks, conduct, and floor expectations.
  • Support onboarding and training for new hires.
  • Partner with safety and operations leadership to reinforce safe work practices, PPE, knife handling, sanitation, quality standards, and productivity expectations.
  • Cross-train team members to support flexibility and stronger shift coverage.
  • Enforce company standards consistently and escalate issues when needed.
  • Build a positive, high-energy work environment.
  • Recognize strong performance and help improve morale and retention.
  • Communicate daily updates regarding staffing, output, issues, morale, risks, and production needs.
  • Help ensure daily production goals are met.
