About The Position

Production Equipment Maintenance Specialist Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Production Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Ladson, South Carolina on Variable shift, including nights and weekends. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Ladson, SC (IRCSC)-PSC & MP. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.

Requirements

• Availability to work variable shifts, with the understanding that your assigned shift will not be confirmed until after training
• 1+ year of aerospace, manufacturing, or fabrication experience
• 1+ years of experience in equipment maintenance
• 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)
• 1+ years of experience working with Digital Volt Meters (DVM), Oscilloscopes, AC/DC Power supplies, Frequency Generators, and/or Power Meters
• 1+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance
• 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)
• 3+ years of experience working with Digital Volt Meters (DVM), Oscilloscopes, AC/DC Power supplies, Frequency Generators, and/or Power Meters
• 3+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance on factory equipment
• Troubleshoots, analyzes, inspects, disassembles, rebuilds, modifies and tests factory machinery and equipment as necessary using knowledge in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Uses and interprets advanced blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment
• Responds to requests for equipment repair
• Maintains and manages components and replacement part inventories
• Works under limited supervision
