About The Position

HL Mando America Corporation is offering Production Engineering Technician positions in Hogansville, Georgia. This role is responsible for supporting production line operations, troubleshooting machinery and product issues, and implementing continuous improvement activities. The technician will perform problem-solving related to automation, servomotors, and robotic systems, and analyze technical drawings for jigs, fixtures, and machine components. Key duties include monitoring and troubleshooting production line issues to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime, investigating mechanical and product-related problems and implementing corrective actions, and analyzing machine components and tooling using 2D and 3D CAD drawings (e.g., AutoCAD, CATIA) to propose and implement improvements. The role also involves improving production efficiency through data analysis and machine and process optimization, supporting and maintaining robotic and servo-based equipment by identifying issues and adjusting performance parameters, investigating production defects, identifying root causes, and assisting with corrective and preventive actions. Additionally, the technician will provide guidance to line operators to maintain productivity and quality standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or foreign equivalent degree
6 months of experience performing machine and product issue investigations and using improvement techniques
6 months of experience in improving production efficiency involving machines and products
6 months of experience working with servomotor and robotic systems
6 months of experience performing root cause analysis and corrective action planning for production defects
6 months of experience reading and analyzing 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar CAD software
