About The Position

This is a seasonal role with opportunity to advance, where you will work onsite at Conagra's Imlay City, Michigan facility, Home of the Vlasic brand. You will report to Supervision. Your responsibilities will include supplying materials to the line, performing the safe operation of the Hi-Lo, and completing inventory updates using the onsite inventory tracking system (SAP).

Requirements

• Minimum six (6) months forklift experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain certification for Hi-Lo license.
• Restock labels, film, glass lines, caps, corrugated blanks, and glue.
• Supply and fill cap hoppers.
• Use bale compactors.
• Maintain storage areas.
• Assist the Shipper/Receiver.
• Perform safety inspections observing forklift checkout sheet.
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed when unloading trailers.
• Ensure surrounding areas are kept neat and sanitary.
• Train employees.
• Collaborate with co-workers, Team Leads, Production Leads, and Quality Department.
• Complete all documentation following standards.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ensure actions are consistent with and support plant safety goals and procedures.
