Requirements

  • Must be able to lift to a maximum of 50 lbs. (occasionally).
  • Ability to work long hours (10 or 12-hour shifts)/ and weekends as scheduled.
  • Must have the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Operate within existing safety guidelines.
  • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience
  • Demonstrated customer service excellence.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • This job requires the ability to effectively communicate orally (and occasionally in writing) with co-workers and supervisors, and the ability to understand and quickly react to job-related oral and/or written directions, safety information, and communications (which are generally in English), as our manufacturing processes are constantly changing and evolving.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience driving Box Truck preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems a plus
  • Forklift experience highly desired

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual and clerical duties related to the preparation and shipment of customer orders, including packaging goods according to specifications.
  • Safely Transport battery and battery components in a GVW Vehicle at 25,999lbs
  • Hold a Medical Card with no restrictions
  • Accurately Complete a Daily Log
  • Pass Safety Training
  • Read and sign a Fleet Manual
  • Prepare and process items if need to be returned to supplier. Ensure goods are packaged according to product and shipping specifications and all shipping documentation is complete.
  • Incoming and outgoing quality control - verify and receive all shipments for accuracy and visual damage.
  • Load and unload containers and trailers.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins.
  • Fill work orders, or requests for materials, and distributes items to designated area.
  • Utilize a forklift to safely store and move product around the warehouse.
  • Transport battery and battery packs safely to and from destinations
  • Arrive at destinations on schedule.
  • Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
  • Fulfill administrative requirements.
  • Sign in and update Logbook each time you drive.
  • Write in mileage, fuel usage, any expenses incurred in daily activities.
  • Alert your supervisor immediately of any warning lights or signals identifying an issue with the vehicle.
  • Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed
