About The Position

MM is a global leader in consumer packaging. The Group provides packaging solutions for carton board and folding cartons with an attractive offer in kraft papers, uncoated fine papers, leaflets, and labels. MM promotes sustainable development through innovative, recyclable packaging and paper products. Your Role: You will ensure personnel are working safely, efficiently and are producing good quality product at all times through frequent observation throughout each shift. You will adjust assignments as needed when presented with unplanned absences through knowledge of schedule and utilization of employees. You will work with Plant Lead Operators to provide effective cross training of employees to maximize shift versatility to meet production needs. You will initiate and investigate employee concerns as needed. You will ensure all materials are available for each job prior to set up (trays, cartons, shrink film, chip board, and material from cutting). You will assist in maximizing production on OT through self-availability and adequate coverage. You will review vacation requests and other attendance events in a timely manner to ensure that employee’s time is accurate, and that payroll is met each week without error. You will continuously drive productivity and quality improvements that create a world class manufacturing operation.

Requirements

Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent education with an Associate degree preferred.
At least 2 years of previous experience in a similar role managing at least 15-20 associates.
Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

Spanish as a second language is a plus.
