This position reports to: Production Manager Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to support production process definition to ensure optimization of cost, quality, and on-time delivery of product. Each day, you will participate in the sequence definition, cycle time calculation, and analysis of the working phases of new production processes/products. You will also showcase your expertise by sharing cycle time data with internal teams. The work model for the role is: onsite This role is contributing to the success of the busway manufacturing plant in Selmer, TN. You will be mainly accountable for: Preparing technical documentation regarding the process phases, related methods, and cycle times. Supporting production during start-ups by training indirect and direct staff. Ensuring that updated process and technical documentation are provided to Supply Chain Management teams to support supplier evaluations and proper supplier agreements. Participating in the definition of action plans, training of relevant Maintenance and Production teams, and other support activities during the internal/external process and equipment start-up.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED required
5+ years of previous manufacturing experience required
Ability to read blueprints is required
Must be able to fill in as needed in operators absence

Nice To Haves

Experience with bar cutting machinery or complex assembly work

Responsibilities
