About The Position

The In-House Production Coordinator - (Cut & Sew / Floor Support) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of in-house production, including scheduling, material movement, system processing, QC inspection, flow gating, and labor tracking to meet departmental output goals and adapt to day-to-day changes. Within the Cut & Sew Department, this role also provides floor support to Department Managers by distributing, organizing, and sorting work, as well as assigning tasks to sewers under the direction of management to ensure an efficient workflow from start to finish.

Requirements

  • 3–4 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment.
  • 2+ years working with an inventory and/or production management system; fluent in MS Excel.
  • Basic garment sewing construction skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and take accountability.
  • Effective multitasking skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-SKU/low-volume environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others across all levels of the organization.
  • Basic math proficiency and ability to handle a physical workload.
  • Eagerness to learn and take on responsibility, with a personal sense of accountability.
  • Ability to perform work in compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with production scheduling or parts expediting is a plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure production materials are available when needed.
  • Review and monitor raw material inventory levels and condition to ensure timely flow to production.
  • Pull, kit, and stage materials for production, keeping inventory organized throughout the day.
  • Move parts and materials between departments, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Serve as the link between systematic and physical material movement.
  • Maintain and update the in-house production schedule.
  • Utilize the ERP system to track materials, labor, and inventory.
  • Assist with labor tracking, reporting updates, and system structure improvements.
  • Work with the Production Manager and teams to control flow, sequencing, and scheduling.
  • Support QC by communicating finished parts and reporting defective materials or questionable conditions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and materials teams to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Assist in organizing raw materials, components, tooling, and consumables for consistent workflow.
  • Escalate issues as necessary to Department Leads.
  • Perform basic garment sewing construction and other tasks such as boxing, taping, gluing, stamping, cutting, and bench operations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area, following prescribed safety regulations.
  • Complete daily paperwork accurately and on time for the scheduler.
  • Accept frequent supervision and assistance with machine setup.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
