About The Position

As a Production Coordinator on our team, you’ll bring process management and technical editing skills to help your client’s naval organization grow while also identifying areas for improvement. We need your abilities as an analytical problem-solver paired with your attention to detail to effectively communicate insights, findings, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders. You’ll work with a team focused on naval capability develop to provide quality, consistency, and accuracy of analytical reports and processes in alignment with naval executive reporting standards. By maintaining these high standards of technical editing and process management, your contributions ensure naval experiments are translated into actionable intelligence for leadership. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with technical editing
  • Experience working with the front office of a military staff
  • Experience writing and editing and managing approval processes for technical documentation for DoD applications, missions, or initiatives such as after-action reports
  • Experience with business process analysis and process improvement methodologies, including creating process maps using software such as Visio
  • Knowledge of DoD or Navy writing standards and military terminology
  • Ability to edit content from multiple contributors to ensure consistent voice, compelling messaging, and lack of spelling, formatting, and grammatical errors
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and balance numerous priorities while meeting tight deadlines
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with stakeholder analysis, formulating improvements, implementing changes, and developing training materials
  • Experience using AI tools to assist with writing and editing technical documentation
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master’s degree
  • Lean, Six Sigma, BPR, BPM, Kaizen, or RIE Certification
