About The Position

This role is responsible for managing and coordinating production orders to ensure smooth manufacturing flow and on-time delivery. The Production Coordinator will act as a key liaison between various departments, proactively identify and resolve potential issues, and maintain performance tracking for daily KPIs.

Requirements

A high school diploma or GED with a baseline understanding of manufacturing, warehouse, or order coordination environments.
Previous experience navigating ERP or WMS systems—specifically SAP, Körber, or similar order management platforms.
Basic Microsoft Excel proficiency coupled with a sharp attention to detail when auditing order quantities, data sheets, and daily reports.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to successfully collaborate across multiple departments in a fast-paced environment.
The ability to work independently, prioritize multi-layered demands, and swiftly escalate operational risks for immediate resolution.

Responsibilities

Review open production orders daily to validate material availability, identify risks, and prioritize workflows based on customer demand and operational capacity.
Release and print accurate production orders, ensuring all components, machines, and setups are systematically ready for smooth manufacturing flow.
Serve as a vital bridge between Production, Warehouse, Shipping, Planning, Sales, and Customer Service to quickly resolve delivery roadblocks and order discrepancies.
Identify and communicate inventory shortages or delivery risks, supporting critical recovery actions for past-due or backordered accounts.
Maintain daily production KPIs, status trackers, and communication logs to ensure high levels of transparency and on-time delivery execution.
