The Production Coordinator provides task-level coordination and execution support at the point of use to help ensure daily work plans are completed accurately, safely, and on time. The role typically supports approximately 5–15 mechanics, though the span may vary according to operational needs, shift structure, workforce composition, discipline complexity, and department maturity. The coordinator supports the Production Supervisor’s direction through disciplined execution, administrative accuracy, and positive frontline influence, without independent authority to change staffing, schedules, plans, or quality requirements. The position coordinates and executes assigned work, supports task sequencing, maintains accurate labor and administrative records, and keeps visual boards and execution tools current. It monitors safety, quality, PPE compliance, tool control, and 6S standards; identifies and escalates abnormal conditions, defects, risks, delays, and resource constraints; and supports containment and DRDI initiation as appropriate. The coordinator also supports work planning and instructions, out-of-station work, skills-matrix accuracy, communication between mechanics and leadership, milestone buyoffs, and continuous improvement. The role serves as a subject matter expert for installations and processes within the assigned department and performs other duties as assigned. This is a first-shift, full-time position in Gulfstream’s Savannah operations. Overtime, weekend work, and shifts may be required to meet business needs. Travel is not required.
