About The Position

MCD is hiring a Production Coordinator for its second-shift manufacturing team. The role begins with learning MCD's equipment, processes, and team while supporting daily production activities. It is designed to develop into a Production Supervisor position, with leadership responsibilities increasing as the employee gains experience and demonstrates readiness. The schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 2:00 PM–11:00 PM, including shift overlap; hours may vary based on operational needs. This is a full-time, salaried position.

Requirements

• Previous experience directly supervising employees, including providing direction, coaching, and managing performance.
• Understanding of manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Ability to assess challenges and make sound decisions.
• Ability to communicate expectations clearly and work effectively with others.
• Ability to balance competing priorities and keep production on track.
• Ability to take ownership of responsibilities and follow through.
• Ability to accurately read rulers and measuring tools.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in printing or print finishing.

Responsibilities

• Learn MCD's production equipment, processes, and quality standards.
• Support daily production activities, workflow, and scheduling priorities.
• Work alongside operators to troubleshoot issues and keep production moving.
• Help coordinate staffing, training, and production needs.
• Communicate with supervisors and other departments to resolve challenges.
• Promote a safe, productive, and team-oriented work environment.
• Gradually take on additional leadership and supervisory responsibilities.
