About The Position

The Production Coordinators perform several key roles as part of the plant operations team. They are the primary liaison between the customer experience team and the production floor. They work closely with leadership to analyze data, help prioritize work, escalate issues, create job write-ups, follow up on technology tickets, and support continuous improvement projects. The schedule for this position is 1st shift, Monday - Friday, with eight or more hours per day, five days per week based on business needs. The primary schedule will be 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM, or similar. Training may occur at other times. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Requirements

  • Three to five (3-5) years of Offset and Digital Printing with Large-Format color graphics or signage experience
  • One to two (1-2) years of experience working in a coordinating role
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency required
  • Proficient computer knowledge, including Microsoft Suite, Google, fax, scanner, copier
  • Effectively communicate orally and written in English with all members of the internal organization as well as external
  • Detail-oriented and organized work ethic including efficient time management skills, with proven track record of completion of tasks/assignments

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the main point of communication for our customer experience team, addressing, responding, and following up on inquiries and requests for their assigned facility
  • Coordinate daily batch prioritization with production leads to ensure the company is meeting customer shipping expectations and on time delivery (OTD) goals
  • Expedite individual orders on the production floor based off of situational client requests
  • Create job tickets for custom work and ensure work is scheduled and completed to client expectations
  • Identify trends in quality, customer feedback, and operational performance by assembling reports and presenting to plant operations leadership on a regular basis
  • Creates purchase orders, requisitions, and purchase production supplies and parts for the facility upon request
  • Coordinates regular inventory audits and assemble information for finance and leadership teams
  • Support plant continuous improvement efforts by leading the coordination of projects and communications between shifts, departments, and leadership
  • Perform regular process audits to acknowledge conformance of standard operating procedures
  • Support onboarding of new employees
  • Work closely with the Production Manager / Plant Manager and support ad-hoc requests
