About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Production Control Coordinator - 1st Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $22.83 per hour. The hours for this shift are 6pm - 2:30pm. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • 1 year of materials &/or manufacturing experience
  • Authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Plan, process, and request manufacturing information utilizing computer generated data reports (Excel // SAP // AS400 // Outlook).
  • Schedule and release production orders (Print // Prepare Production Orders // Picking List // Labels // Wiring Labels // Diagrams) within assigned areas and assist in control of productive materials, hardware expense items and expedite shortages.
  • Buy expenses for the production orders (Paper // Envelope // Folders // Toner).
  • Ensure all shortages for area(s) of responsibility are known to include latest promise date for each shortage and close follow through until shortage is installed.
  • Maintain Material Synchronization Spreadsheet for area(s) of responsibility.
  • Daily basis: COGI reconciliation and work order processing required.
  • Scrap Ticket process // Ship Short process // Deviation process for production orders // Check and response Emails // Tier 1 & Tier 2 assistance.
  • MPS process assistance in a weekly basis.
  • Validate Physical inventory in the warehouse for production orders.
  • Identify issues with the production orders and solve in daily basis (Wrong Control Keys // No routing // wrong Bom // no Cost).
  • Validate Engineering CO’s and modify production orders as needed.
  • Constant communication with production people // Material Team // Supply Chain // Quality // Engineering teams.
  • Coordinate material to meet schedule ship dates.
  • Plan and coordinate between all areas of factory.
  • Help manage cycle counts and physical inventory of designated value streams.
  • Reschedule production orders accordingly working directly with production leaders and shipping.
  • Review and update status of orders and materials with manufacturing supervisors, material control personnel, and people in work areas, customer service, and Kanban expeditors. Includes regularly scheduled multi-functional production meetings which vary from once a week to daily depending on area(s) of responsibility.
  • Utilize computer, including the utilization of AS400, and SAP to maintain control of floor stock and floor records.
  • Requisition stock from the storeroom as required.
  • Initiate critical material requirements reports and prepare special reports as assigned.
  • Process surplus, rejected and/or defective material according to procedures.
  • Process changes notices and work with supply chain on production updates.
  • Request release from vendors and expedite material.
  • Process emergency customer request orders generated by customer service.
  • Problem solves manufacturing information by identifying missing and incorrect items, incorrect drawing revision, parts that need to be ordered and unacceptable vendor supply dates.
  • Review status of orders and materials to identify and plan for future requirements.
  • Assist lower coded operators or perform tasks of lower coded positions.
  • Required to perform handle warranty returns as needed.
  • Observe all safety and hygiene requirements as specified or directed.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workplace. 5 ”S”
