Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience in administration, order management, customer service, or a related role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage paperwork and coordinate multiple orders and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to follow-up.
  • Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Comfortable working in an office-based position involving regular computer work and frequent communication by phone and email.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in building materials, construction, distribution, or a production environment is considered an asset.
  • Experience with order-entry, billing, ERP, or business management systems is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main administrative contact for customers, responding to order-related questions and providing timely updates.
  • Coordinate confirmed orders from receipt through production, delivery, and billing.
  • Review order details and documentation to ensure information is complete and accurate.
  • Prepare and maintain organized customer files, production paperwork, and order records.
  • Communicate requirements, changes, priorities, and deadlines to production and other departments.
  • Ensure production has the materials, labels, documentation, and information needed to complete each order.
  • Track active orders, follow up on outstanding items, and address potential delays or issues.
  • Maintain accurate order and billing information in Micron while managing multiple priorities and administrative tasks.
