About The Position

Dedicated to a specific department, the Production Coordinator performs a key role in the daily running of the department and the support of the Leads, supervisor and dedicated artists. The Production Coordinator liaise with the production management team and participate to ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget.

Requirements

  • 5 years professional experience required in Feature Animation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to give and receive feedback constructively.
  • Adaptability, problem solving skills and sense of initiative.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, being reactive and organized with the ability to prioritize.
  • Knowledge of Excel and Asset Management Systems, experience in scheduling.
  • Understanding of the CG pipeline and strong interest for front end departments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and on a deadline.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage the department’s schedule including assignments, targets and quotas.
  • Communicate with the Department Manager and the Production Manager daily regarding the status of the production for the department.
  • Coordinate the workflow for all artists ans act as the gto person for assigned team (artists).
  • Maintain and report on the status of assigned departments, including accurate understanding of progress on an asset or shot-by-shot basis.
  • Update asset management system, similar to F-Track.
  • Facilitate communication in a timely manner between departments, production and management.
  • Act as a conduit between production management and crew, providing resources and information as needed.
  • Complete script and storyboard breakdowns for assets and shot elements.
  • Take direction fromn the Department Manager and Production Manager and flag potential delays or problems to them.
  • Run department meetings.
  • Onboard, train and support the Production Assistant.
