The Production Cook is responsible for rotating between cooking stations and restaurants in hot temperature areas, each responsible for specific food items and using particular cooking devices. This role requires refilling and replacing pans with specified garnish in the steam table. The cook must have command of all stations of the kitchen, including roast, fry, pasta, vegetable, grill, pantry, breakfast, sauté, and high-volume quantity cooking. Maintaining proper food temperatures in accordance with regulatory and/or ServSafe standards is crucial. The position involves proper labeling, dating, and rotating of all products to ensure safe keeping and sanitation. Knowledge of recipes, equipment operation, and cooking and preparation techniques is required. The cook will review production schedules to determine food requirements, assemble necessary supplies and equipment, and follow production sheets. They will regulate oven, broiler, and grill temperatures and use a variety of pots, pans, and equipment to prepare food. The role requires the ability to work in harmony with others in a strenuous environment, reporting to work well-groomed in full uniform and on time. Providing prompt, friendly, and courteous service of food and beverage to guests, and maintaining a hospitable, friendly, and polite demeanor with all individuals is essential. Understanding and complying with information security policies and procedures is mandatory. The position requires meeting attendance guidelines and adhering to all policies. All required training programs must be completed within nine months of employment, and attendance at necessary meetings is expected. Duties and expectations are subject to change as needed, and hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule.
