About The Position

2Unique Catering Company is a versatile, forward-thinking culinary operation offering services ranging from drop-off cuisine service to interactive stations and exquisite multi-course plated events. They are passionate about creativity, outstanding service, and unforgettable guest experiences. The company is seeking an energetic Production Cook to help build and maintain their off-premise delivery service of “drop off” catering to business and residential clients. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality ingredients and menu components that support both business-to-business catering and private event catering. Events vary in size, guest count, and service style, including interactive stations, small plates, and seated dinners, requiring an organized, efficient, and adaptable prep cook in a fast-paced, event-driven kitchen environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional kitchen experience required
• Strong knife skills and foundational culinary techniques
• Well-rounded knowledge of food products, ingredients, and preparation methods
• Excellent time management and organization skills
• Ability to follow recipes and standardized production procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume catering environment
• Serve Safe Certification required OR willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of employment through the company-provided training platform

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and menu components according to company recipes and production standards
• Support production for corporate and private event catering menus
• Maintain consistency and quality across all food preparation
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety protocols
• Always maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Assist culinary team members with daily prep lists and production goals
• Accurately label, store, and rotate food products according to food safety standards
• Communicate effectively with chefs and kitchen leadership regarding production needs
• Adapt to changing production demands based on event schedules and business needs
