About The Position

This is a National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service position. The purpose of this position is to perform maintenance production management, to achieve or maintain desired production levels, to serve as an equipment readiness expert for units supported by the facility, and to provide technical guidance and oversight to a lower-graded Production Controller. This position is located at FMS6 in Bellemont, Arizona.

Requirements

  • Must be a current member of the Arizona Army National Guard, in a military organization supported by the FMS6.
  • Must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed.
  • Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • Must pass a background investigation.
  • May be required to successfully complete a trial period.
  • Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
  • Must possess and maintain a current unrestricted state and military driver’s license (excluding corrective eyewear such as glasses).
  • Must possess and maintain access to the Arizona Army National Guard computer network (NIPR) and required systems.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain required GCSS (Global Combat Support System) -Army certification within 15 days of hire date.
  • Must be able to maintain access to GCSS-Army.
  • Must possess and maintain a secret security clearance.
  • Enlisted: PVT/E-1 to SMG/CSM/E-9
  • Warrant Officer Candidate: WOC
  • Warrant Officer: WO1/W-1
  • Compatible Military Assignments: Must possess or be able to obtain Enlisted: 88, 92, 94 Series MOS
  • Warrant Officer Candidate: 09W MOS
  • Warrant Officer: 91 or 92 Series MOS
  • GS-1152-07: Must possess at least 12 months experience, education or training working with people from various levels and backgrounds.
  • GS-1152-07: Experience with a general knowledge of the functions and procedures of production control, records, references, and techniques for developing production control data.
  • GS-1152-07: Experience assisting or maintaining workflow.
  • GS-1152-09: Must possess at least 24 months experience, education or training scheduling workflow in more than one area and responsible for coordinating products or materials from support activities.
  • GS-1152-09: Experience in performing or supervising journeyman level work in a production facility.
  • GS-1152-09: Experience preparing job or work orders; scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility; following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in materials, machine processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes.
  • GS-1152-09: Experience with current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc.
