About The Position

Toyota-Denso Automotive Compressor Georgia (TACG), established in 2004, is part of the Toyota Industries Corporation family. Located in Pendergrass, Georgia, we specialize in manufacturing automotive air conditioning compressors and are committed to quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. TACG is seeking a motivated, self-sufficient, and project-oriented Production Control Specialist to support production planning, inventory management, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical and advanced Microsoft Excel skills who enjoys managing projects, solving problems, analyzing data, and driving results. While manufacturing, production control, and supply chain experience are beneficial, we are especially interested in candidates who demonstrate initiative, organization, and the ability to independently manage projects and responsibilities.

Requirements

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with data, reports, and spreadsheets are essential.
• Demonstrated project management, coordination, or project-oriented experience.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to independently manage priorities and complete assignments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with inventory management systems (MRP) required.
• Must be able to stand, walk, sit, handle materials, and occasionally bend, climb, kneel, or lift at least 10 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, with relevant experience.
• Manufacturing, production planning, BOM management, parts ordering, or supply chain experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, JIT, Kaizen, or continuous improvement is beneficial.
• Experience with AS400, Power Link, or ITEMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, available resources, and production capacity.
• Analyze data and develop reports using advanced Microsoft Excel to support planning, inventory control, and business decisions.
• Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate material replenishment, supplier communication, and customer shipment schedules to support just-in-time (JIT) manufacturing.
• Manage and support cross-functional projects, process improvements, and department initiatives.
• Maintain bills of materials (BOMs), part numbers, and inventory systems.
• Support cycle counts, physical inventory, and continuous improvement activities.
