About The Position

MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC (MNAe) is a Tier 1 supplier of Battery System Assembly (BSA) and Power Electric (PE) systems, which are key parts to produce electric vehicles, based on state-of-art manufacturing technology related to battery system assembly. Our Production Management Department at Hyundai Mobis North America is seeking a Production Control Specialist to join our team in Ellabell, GA. The Specialist will play a vital role in establishing MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain LLC. This position is responsible for ensuring that the manufacturing process is efficient, cost-effective, and delivers high-quality products on time, while also coordinating with other departments and managing resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for BOM/EO control and ERP/MES upkeep.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret, or learn how to interpret, BOMs, EOs, and 2D/3D CAD drawings
Dynamic & Self-Driven: Ability to thrive amidst ambiguity, taking initiative and making things happen with little to no instructions
Be inquisitive: Willingness to ask questions in ambiguity to get a clear picture
Ability to adapt quickly to new challenges, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Strong sense of responsibility
Detailed knowledge of Just in Sequence processes and systems in the Automotive industry
SAP (PP/MM/SD module) and MES experience
Analytic skills in engineering drawing
Comprehensive problem-solving skills across the plant
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
Ability to speak and write in Korean is a plus

Responsibilities

Serve as the initial point of contact for Customer Engineering Changes, including BOM management.
Manage SAP Material Master data, including creating part numbers and maintaining information such as MRP view, Work center, Routing, Production version, Standard cost, and Module number.
Monitor incoming EDI for new parts daily.
Maintain and implement SAP PP Module processes, including LTP, MRP, PIR, Backlog, and Production result adjustment (complete/component).
Maintain production BOM in SAP/MES, including part number, material information, and effective point information.
Track material consumption for material closing and inventory accuracy on a weekly and monthly basis.
Maintain and distribute the PART LIST MASTER to all departments.
Track material history for obsolescence or gain/loss items.
Liaise with the IT team for SAP system improvements from a user perspective.
Coordinate Engineering Change Order (EO) implementation with all plant departments.
Manage EO part changes, including EC alerts, 1st sequence recording, and EC communications (internal/external).
Manage EO information by participating in internal/external EC meetings and tracking upcoming Effective Points (EP).
Maintain EO systems (G-EPI, SAP).
Prepare monthly/weekly production reports, including production index analysis and improvement.
Maintain accuracy of production index system data (System vs. Actual).
Generate irregular plant comprehensive reports.
Maintain plant information and index.
Respond to requirements from the Korea headquarters.
Support and perform special projects as necessary.
