This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a passionate and accomplished team of professionals, you will join a team of Production Control Specialists responsible for coordinating and controlling manufacturing activities for our Additive Manufacturing department. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable space flight. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of production planning and control as we establish, maintain, and coordinate production schedules. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or control.
  • Proven experience using and managing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems (e.g., SAP, Costpoint, Oracle).
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive and adapt in a high-energy, fast-paced, and multifaceted environment.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in a both development and production manufacturing environment.
  • Direct experience in aerospace, automotive, or medical device manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with additive manufacturing (3D printing) processes and workflows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office software, including MS Project and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate production schedules for the Additive Manufacturing department to ensure on-time delivery of components.
  • Perform real-time schedule management to maintain a dynamic and accurate production forecast, clearly communicating job status and priorities to all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the planning and staging of materials, powder, and kits for all vital areas of production, post-processing, and testing.
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and help resolve constraints in the production flow, collaborating with department leads to implement solutions.
  • Maintain accurate data and estimated on-dock dates for all jobs within the scheduling system (ERP/MRP).
