About The Position

The Production Control Scheduler coordinates production schedules, optimizes workflow, and supports Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste. The role uses Microsoft Excel for production planning, inventory tracking, capacity analysis, and reporting, and collaborates with production, materials, and customer service teams to support on-time delivery and operational goals.

Requirements

• Experience coordinating production schedules, optimizing workflow, and supporting Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for production planning, inventory tracking, capacity analysis, and reporting, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, charts, and data analysis.
• Knowledge of production scheduling, Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, capacity planning, materials management, inventory control, ERP/MRP systems, and data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to collaborate across teams, including production, materials, customer service, purchasing, inventory, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer demand and manufacturing capacity.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to minimize downtime and meet delivery commitments.
• Coordinate with production control, purchasing, inventory, and operations teams to ensure material availability.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to identify waste, improve process flow, and increase productivity.
• Analyze production data and generate reports using Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and forecasting tools.
• Track KPIs such as schedule attainment, throughput, inventory levels, and on-time delivery.
• Support continuous improvement projects and participate in root cause analysis for production delays.
• Maintain accurate production records and communicate schedule changes to production department and management.
