A Production Control Clerk / Admin plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of production activities at AFM West. Their duties typically include monitoring production schedules, maintaining and updating them for efficiency and timeliness, and ensuring work orders and production targets are met. This role involves compiling and recording production data, creating and managing reports and schedules, and handling timesheet management. Familiarity with EWOCS (workorder system) and GCSS Army is expected. The position may involve calculating production factors such as types and quantities of items produced, materials used, scrap, defect frequency, and worker/department production rates using computers, calculators, and spreadsheets. Additional tasks include writing production reports, maintaining files, preparing detailed production sheets or work tickets, preparing written work schedules, compiling material inventory records, and preparing requisitions. The role also involves charting production using various methods, sorting and distributing work tickets, and potentially computing wages from employee timecards for payroll preparation. This position follows clearly detailed specific procedures for repetitive clerical tasks, such as coding and filing documents, simple posting to accounts, opening mail, calculating and posting charges, operating basic office equipment, and using minimal computer programs. Other duties as assigned, and adherence to company's AS9100 and QMS policies, procedures, and guidelines are also required.
