About The Position

This role is responsible for upholding the master production schedule, managing material transactions, and ensuring effective shipment management. The Production Control Manager will work closely with Logistics teams to meet customer expectations and maintain compliance with company standards. Key responsibilities include inventory control, adherence to logistics policies, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves leading and mentoring a team to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Requirements

Experience in production control and logistics management.
Knowledge of inventory control principles and practices.
Familiarity with logistics policies, agreements, and supplier management.
Ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team.
Skills in continuous improvement processes.
Understanding of customer shipment requirements and satisfaction metrics.

Responsibilities

Upholds the master production schedule and supports progress of production orders.
Manages material transactions from receiving to shipping.
Works closely with Logistics teams to ensure all shipments are managed effectively through internal controls and policies in accordance with customer expectations.
Ensures shipment compliance with company standards and policies.
Monitors and supports customer shipment requirements to improve customer satisfaction and service efficiency.
Maintains inventory control, inventory levels, and execution of cycle counting and monthly and annual inventory.
Upholds logistics policies and agreements, including mode, carrier, and supplier agreements that benefit the overall business.
Contributes to the continuous improvement process by identifying areas of improvement.
Leads, mentors, and manages team, providing guidance and support to ensure individual and collective success while fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
