About The Position

The Production Control Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts and tuggers while ensuring raw materials and finished goods are moved to the correct locations. This role supports production flow, shipping accuracy, and overall plant efficiency while maintaining ATTC’s safety and quality standards. This is a first shift position with a start time of 5:00 AM.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
  • Forklift and/or tugger experience preferred
  • On-the-job training provided for candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Perform work as assigned by the Supervisor
  • Follow standardized work instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Safely operate forklifts and tuggers
  • Ensure all production lines are stocked with raw materials
  • Move and stage finished goods appropriately
  • Inspect products being shipped to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Identify good vs. non-conforming parts
  • Use calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and go/no-go gauges
  • Oversee outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper condition
  • Determine space requirements and proper placement of shipments in trucks
  • Notify Supervisor of any mechanical, safety, production, or production control issues
  • Comply with all company safety and employee regulations
