About The Position

Thales Defense & Security, Inc. (TDSI) is seeking a Production Control Expeditor to work at our Clarksburg, Maryland Campus. This position reports to the Senior Manufacturing Manager. The role involves moving materials between stockroom, production areas, and finished goods locations, transferring completed boards, and assisting in closing work orders. It requires daily on-site interaction with operations teams to validate material movement, partnering with Purchasing to expedite and resolve material shortages, and tracking/delivering shortage materials. The role also includes picking and processing small accessory orders.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• High School diploma required
• 0-5 years' experience in Business or Manufacturing Environment.
• Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
• Able to work independently.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment and effectively multi-task to meet demands.
• Excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills - Fluent in English.
• Ability to comply with all Company guidelines, policies, procedures and embrace Company Core Values.

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree in associated discipline preferred.
• Shipping, Receiving and Inventory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move materials between stockroom, production areas, and finished goods locations.
• Transfer completed boards to subsequent process steps.
• Assist in closing work orders and maintaining accurate records.
• Requires daily on-site interaction with operations teams to validate movement of materials.
• Partner with Purchasing to expedite and resolve material shortage.
• Track and deliver shortage materials as they become available.
• Pick and process small accessory orders.
