Lives depend on what we do! Thales Defense & Security, Inc. is currently seeking a Production Control Expeditor to work at our Clarksburg, Maryland Campus. This position reports to the Senior Manufacturing Manager.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required. - Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • High School diploma required; Associates degree in associated discipline preferred.
  • 0-5 years' experience in Business or Manufacturing Environment.
  • Shipping, Receiving and Inventory experience preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • Able to work independently.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment and effectively multi-task to meet demands.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills - Fluent in English.
  • Ability to comply with all Company guidelines, policies, procedures and embrace Company Core Values.

Responsibilities

  • Move materials between stockroom, production areas, and finished goods locations.
  • Transfer completed boards to subsequent process steps.
  • Assist in closing work orders and maintaining accurate records.
  • Requires daily on-site interaction with operations teams to validate movement of materials.
  • Partner with Purchasing to expedite and resolve material shortage.
  • Track and deliver shortage materials as they become available.
  • Pick and process small accessory orders.
