About The Position

We are looking for a Production Control Coordinator to join our team at Bluefors in Syracuse, NY. In this role, you will support multiple departments by managing production documentation, generating work orders, and ensuring accurate data flow across operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while playing a key role in production planning and execution.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least six months of administrative or manufacturing planning experience.

  • Experience working with ERP systems is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support inventory control by running supply and demand models within the ERP system to align production needs.
  • Generate, print, and release work orders and pick lists to the production floor, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Perform work order closing transactions to update inventory quantities, including tracking work-in-progress to finished goods.
  • Create and distribute work order packets, assist with job routing coordination, and maintain accurate electronic documentation through data entry and filing.
  • Attend meetings to gather updates on new orders, revisions, supplier issues, and production timelines, and communicate scheduling requirements or shortages with floor supervisors.
  • Coordinate material and supply ordering, monitor quality-related part needs, generate reports, update presentations, and support general administrative tasks using Microsoft Office tools.
