About The Position

Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) is seeking a Production Control Clerk to work onsite in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The position compiles and records production data for industrial establishments, using spreadsheets and the LMP computer program to compare records and report on production volume, material consumption, quality control, and other production matters. The clerk may also compile material inventory records, prepare procurement requisitions, and chart production statistics for production and management personnel. The position may require obtaining a forklift license and performing material packout and preservation.

Requirements

At least 1–3 years of proven experience as a Production Control Clerk.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screening.
Ability to receive Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

Compile and record production data from customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets using prescribed procedures and word-processing techniques.
Write production reports from compiled, tabulated, and computed data, following prescribed formats.
Maintain files of documents used and prepared.
Compile detailed production sheets or work tickets to guide production workers in assembling or manufacturing products.
Compile material inventory records and prepare requisitions for materials and supplies.
Chart production statistics using charts, graphs, or pegboards for production and management personnel.
Potentially obtain a forklift license and perform material packout and preservation.
