The Production Control Clerk compiles and records production data for industrial establishments to compare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of production, performing any combination of the following duties. This role involves processing Naval Aircraft Flight Record (NAVFLIR) input and validation, verifying flight operation reports, and assisting the maintenance control supervisor with aircraft discrepancy book reviews. The clerk will prepare, record, verify, and update aircraft records and reports, as well as engine documentation. Additionally, they will monitor, order, verify, and update technical directives (TDs), and initiate, update, and verify aircraft logbooks and aeronautical equipment service record (AESR) forms and records. Ensuring the provision of accurate aircraft inventories, equipment serial numbers, and configurations is crucial. The role also requires preparing and verifying aircraft inventory records and complying with all current sections of COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 series applicable to aircraft maintenance. A working knowledge of technical publications, NAMP, and NALCOMIS aircraft maintenance applications is necessary.
