About The Position

NOW HIRING: We are looking for a Production Control Associate to join our Transportation & Infrastructure (T&I) Winsted team. The Production Control Associate is responsible for performing daily Planning & Scheduling and Production Control activities along with providing manufacturing support. This is an onsite opportunity in Winsted, MN.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and 0 years’ experience OR a high school diploma and a minimum of 4 years’ experience in manufacturing and ERP systems
Prefer experience in production control and/or scheduling
Microsoft Office skills; particularly with Excel
High attention to detail and critical thinking/problem solving
MRP/ERP knowledge
Ability to solve practical problems and make decisions within a set of guidelines
Ability to read and understand required internal manufacturing paperwork
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to work with others as part of a high-performance team
Ability to work under limited supervision using standardized practices and/or procedures

Responsibilities

Perform standard production control quality checks ensuring accuracy of jobs before releasing to production
Completes job orders including validation of material consumption and labor transactions
Executes job change orders
Creates tags for material in process and finished materials
Creates and updates reports to support the manufacturing (i.e. CARES, labor reports, DMR, etc.)
Updates the manufacturing system for WIP
Reconciles and ensures proper paperwork is available for operations
Facilitate and support continuous improvement opportunities
