About The Position

Javvy is hiring a Production Commercialization Manager to coordinate product work from idea through launch across retail, direct-to-consumer (DTC), and Amazon channels. The role reports to the Director of Product Strategy & Innovation and partners with Product Strategy, Product Development, Quality & Regulatory, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Finance. It is fully remote within the U.S., with regular travel to co-manufacturers and Javvy’s Charleston, South Carolina headquarters. The manager will run Javvy’s stage-gate process, maintain a master project timeline and a single project-management system, coordinate operating reviews and cross-functional handoffs, and oversee launch readiness. The role is responsible for ensuring teams have appropriate lead time, launches stay on schedule, risks and delays are surfaced promptly, and project decisions and status are documented.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years leading commercialization, innovation, or new product launches at a CPG food, beverage, or supplement brand.
  • Track record of launching SKUs through co-manufacturers from brief to first production.
  • Experience running stage-gate and portfolio review processes.
  • Strong skills with a project platform such as Smartsheet, Monday, Asana, or Notion, as well as Excel.
  • Ability to hold senior stakeholders accountable to deadlines through influence in a calm and constructive manner.
  • Comfort with regular travel to co-manufacturers and Javvy’s headquarters.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification.
  • Omnichannel launch experience across retail, DTC, and Amazon.
  • Experience in a startup or high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Run the stage-gate process end to end, including gate criteria, required inputs, and go, kill, and hold decisions.
  • Prepare gate reviews and document their outcomes.
  • Ensure projects do not skip formula lock, Nutrition Facts Panel sign-off, or packaging freeze.
  • Maintain a master timeline showing each project’s owner, next milestone, risk level, and launch date.
  • Plan backward from retail resets, DTC launches, and Amazon go-lives to give Operations, Sales, and Marketing sufficient lead time.
  • Flag schedule slips in the week they occur, including their impact and a recovery plan.
  • Select one project-management tool and retire other tools used for project tracking.
  • Keep formula versions, sample rounds, and feedback connected to each project.
  • Run the weekly product meeting, connect owner-reported status to the timeline, and distribute notes and actions within 24 hours.
  • Lead a monthly portfolio review with the Co-founder & CMO to review launches, risks, and projects to cut.
  • Own the launch-readiness checklist covering formula, nutrition panel, packaging, co-manufacturer run, inventory, sales sheet, and marketing assets.
  • Coordinate handoffs from formula lock to commercialization, Operations, Sales, and Marketing, providing a one-page brief at each step.
  • Track co-manufacturer and flavor-house deadlines, including sample due dates, pilot runs, and first production.
