About The Position

In this position you will lead the day‑to‑day execution of the AUR+C Production Strategy Integration function within the CPS Flight Systems Directorate. Working directly under the AUR+C Production Integration Sr. PM, the role is responsible for delivering a cohesive vision and strategy for all immediate and long‑term AUR+C production strategies. The manager will drive the integrated production strategy, oversee pulse implementation across the program, champion continuous improvement, improve current production utilization, and scale production capacity in time phased increments – all of which are driving to meet the mission production demands and missile affordability objectives.

Requirements

Experience in a production or assembly and integration environment
Experience in project leadership, development of clear plans and execution strategies
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and program leadership.
US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Nice To Haves

Experience in implementing Production Improvement Activities
Experience in low-rate manufacturing environments
Experience and understanding of production/factory capacity and industrial engineering concepts such as work standards, capacity, and utilization
Technical experience related to missile, launch vehicle, and/or space vehicle development
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment
Proficiency with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous‑improvement methodology
Preferred experience in related SMD programs
Able to interface with Engineering, Manufacturing, Contracts, Procurement, Quality, Administrative, Demand Management, and Management Personnel
Ability to articulate complex technical and programmatic issues to peers, management, and customer

Responsibilities

Development and integration of a full CPS missile capacity strategic vision which establishes clear time-phased objectives for the entire missile production ecosystem.
Strategic Alignment of the CPS Production Initiatives across all production stakeholders (engineering, AI&T, demand management, etc)
Implementation of Continuous improvement projects including business case development and strategies which securing funding.
