About The Position

The Production Campus Lead helps create excellent, distraction-free environments by leading all production and technical operations at the campus. This role oversees audio, video, lighting, livestream, and production systems while supporting services and special events. This role will help develop team members and volunteers, maintain technical equipment, and work closely with campus and central teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality experience.

  • Proficient in live Production systems, including audio, video, lighting, streaming, media, and related infrastructure
  • Proficient in the operation and troubleshooting of relevant professional Production equipment and software
  • Ability to think strategically while also executing practical day-to-day operational needs
  • Exhibit skill to think quickly and react/troubleshoot calmly and effectively in high-stress situations
  • Ability to train, develop, and support both staff and volunteer Production teams
  • Ability to travel regularly between campuses as needed
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours
  • Ability to pull up to 80 pounds
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Participate in weekly staff meetings
  • Lead Production operations at an assigned “home” multisite campus while supporting additional campuses as the Production multisite Point of Contact
  • Provide leadership, alignment, and operational support for Production systems, volunteer culture, and service excellence across assigned campuses
  • Train and develop Assistant Production staff and volunteer teams at assigned campuses
  • Oversee Production operations at the home campus while equipping assistant staff to maintain operational continuity during travel or absence
  • Visit assigned campuses regularly to maintain consistency in Production quality, systems, expectations, communication, and culture
  • Assist in planning, executing, and supporting campus Production projects and improvements
  • Step in to provide Production coverage for PTO, leaves of absence, special events, or unexpected staffing needs across campuses
  • Collaborate with Production leadership to identify operational gaps, future staffing needs, and scalable multisite solutions
  • Assist in troubleshooting technical, operational, or personnel-related issues across campuses
  • Support weekend services, rehearsals, special events, and multisite Production initiatives as needed
  • Assist in maintaining Production standards related to audio, video, lighting, streaming, media, and stage systems
  • Promote volunteer engagement by serving as a trainer, mentor, and point of contact for campus Production teams
  • Engage as part of a unified team with Athey staff, always being edifying to one another
  • Fulfill all Production duties through temporary or extended assignment to any Athey Creek campus location, helping provide, strengthen, and sustain Production systems, volunteer culture, service excellence, and special event support as needed
