About The Position

Tindall Corporation is a leading precast concrete manufacturer with locations throughout the Southeastern U.S. The Production Bed Leader directs and assists the bed crew in setting up and pouring a bed, ensuring cables, steel pieces, and other materials are properly placed. This role supports production deadlines and helps ensure concrete members are constructed and finished correctly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in finishing concrete.

Responsibilities

• Review daily shop cards for the day's pour and plan preparations to set up the bed.
• Communicate with support employees to ensure all necessary materials are brought to the bed.
• Direct the crew on the correct locations of wood, steel, and other materials.
• Check the bed layout against daily shop cards throughout the shift to ensure accurate construction of the concrete member.
• Direct and assist employees to ensure the concrete member has the correct finish.
• Ensure crew members strip and clean the bed, oil it, and place bulkheads, plates, rebar, and other items throughout the shift.
• Help with or assist in daily toolbox, production, and/or safety meetings.
• Perform additional duties described by the Production Supervisor to help meet production deadlines.
