About The Position

This position is responsible for preparing work orders, records, logs, and other written or computer-based documents. The technician performs preventive maintenance and repairs on various equipment, including lift trucks, pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, banana room equipment, and electronic/electrical equipment. They also operate material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment. The role involves assisting other maintenance technicians, troubleshooting basic equipment problems, and ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. The technician is expected to complete work assignments, manage priorities, collaborate with others, and identify opportunities for improvement. Requirements

1 year’s experience repairing/maintaining mechanical or electrical equipment in an industrial or non-industrial setting OR 2 years' vocational training in electrical, electronics, or related area.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment within spaces as narrow as 18 inches and at heights of 80-100 feet, with or without an established platform and within the weight requirements specified by equipment manufacturers.
