About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Production Associate - 2nd Shift to join our team in Luck, Wisconsin. In this role you are responsible for performing assigned production functions in a safe manner to consistently meet production standards and quality requirements. The pay rate includes a 20% shift differential. The level for each Production Associate is determined by management based on the ability to train others and number of machines the operator can run while meeting production standards and quality requirements. The schedule is Monday - Thursday, 3:30 pm - 2:00 am, with potential for overtime on Fridays. This position offers a 4/10 work schedule with no weekends.

Requirements

• Manual finger dexterity skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Displays a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to use a tape measure preferred.
• At least 6 months of production, assembly, or related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned production functions in a safe manner to consistently meet production standards and quality requirements.
• Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines.
• Monitors product to ensure quality standards are being met.
• Keeps the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S standards.
• Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly completes production reports and other documentation.
• Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
• Assists in other work areas when the workload permits or requires.
