About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring reliable Production Associates for a food manufacturing and distribution center in Coppell, Texas. The role pays $18.50 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 9:45 PM to 6:15 AM. Occasional Saturday overtime is required. Recent food manufacturing experience, specifically packing and seasoning products, is required; restaurant experience alone does not qualify.

Production Associates operate machinery and production-line equipment, handle raw materials, assemble and package products, and perform basic quality checks. They are expected to follow production and safety procedures, maintain an orderly work area, and reliably attend scheduled shifts.

Requirements

• Recent food manufacturing experience is required.
• Experience packing and seasoning products in a food manufacturing environment is required; restaurant experience alone does not qualify.
• Ability to read and understand production documents and safety manuals.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must pass a background check; no misdemeanors or felonies.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and walk for more than eight hours per day.
• Good physical dexterity and ability to perform repetitive production tasks.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Must be available for occasional Saturday overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor machinery and production-line equipment.
• Feed raw materials into production machinery.
• Assemble and package products on production lines.
• Monitor the production process for quality and efficiency.
• Perform basic quality-control and testing checks.
• Properly store finished goods and raw materials.
